Dolce was built for meetings and gatherings before it was a leisure brand. That history is how Wyndham positions it: leisure destinations paired with meeting and event space.

The brand

Dolce was founded in 1981 as a meetings-first operator, became Dolce Hotels and Resorts in 2008 and was acquired by Wyndham Hotel Group in 2015. Within Wyndham it is positioned as an upscale resort-and-gatherings brand pairing leisure destinations with meeting and event space.

Reported in February 2026: Fine Acers and Wyndham bring Dolce Hotels & Resorts to India with two Dolce by Wyndham resorts, in Goa and Udaipur, extending the meetings-and-leisure brand into the country for the first time. (Asian Hospitality, 11 February 2026.)

The two resorts

Dolce by Wyndham Goa, Corgao · Mandrem, at Corgao: In the Pernem hills of North Goa, near Mandrem, a Dolce by Wyndham resort of studios and duplex pool residences above the river. 300 units on 13 acres, opening planned for 2030; unit types Studio, Duplex Pool 2 BHK, Duplex Pool 5 BHK.

Dolce by Wyndham Udaipur: Above Kodiyat, west of Udaipur’s lakes, a Dolce by Wyndham resort planned as the portfolio’s largest project: studios, villas and suites across fifty-five acres. 452 units on 55 acres, opening schedule available on request; unit types Studio, Independent Villa 2 BHK, Junior Suite, Presidential.

One arrangement for both

Both resorts carry 9% a year contractual return for five years from the date of 100% payment, then a share of resort profits. If the resort is operating during those five years, you receive the higher of the contractual return or your allocated share of the resort-wide 50% operating-profit pool. The two are never added together. A written buyback at the invested amount plus 25%, five years from full payment. Full ownership terms, qualifiers and the illustration desk are on the ownership page.
