A hotel mark on a resort answers one question: who will run it. It does not answer the questions an owner signs for. This page separates the two.
The agreement, as reported
Reported in October 2024: at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai, KAMAH, a Fine Acers wellness brand, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts agreed a US$70 million deal to develop four hotels under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham: Kamah Hotel, Al Jaddaf Waterfront, Dubai, plus resorts in Coorg, Jawai and Udaipur. The Dubai hotel introduces the Trademark Collection by Wyndham to the UAE for the first time. (Khaleej Times, 3 October 2024.)
Of the four, two are on sale through Fine Acers today: KAMAH Wellness Resort, Jawai (94 units on 16.5 acres, opening planned for December 2027) and KAMAH Wellness Resort, Coorg (125 units on 20 acres, opening planned for December 2029). KAMAH Udaipur is sold out and under construction; the Dubai hotel is not offered for sale on this site.
What a mark promises, and what it does not
For an owner the mark means the resort is to be operated under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham on opening. A brand mark describes the hospitality affiliation of a specific project. It does not assure returns or completion; the project agreement defines each party’s role.
The unit agreement names the party that owes you the contractual return and the buyback; a brand mark describes the operator affiliation and is not a party to either.
What the owner receives
At KAMAH Wellness Resort, Jawai and KAMAH Wellness Resort, Coorg: The contractual return is 9% a year for five years from the date of 100% payment, then your share of resort profits. A written buyback at the invested amount plus 25%, five years from full payment. Full ownership terms, qualifiers and the illustration desk are on the ownership page.
Questions this page answers
Which Trademark Collection resorts can I buy into?
KAMAH Wellness Resort, Jawai and KAMAH Wellness Resort, Coorg. KAMAH Udaipur is sold out; the Dubai hotel is not offered on this site.
Is the US$70 million figure Fine Acers' revenue?
No. It is the reported value of the development programme agreed between KAMAH and Wyndham in October 2024, as published by Khaleej Times. It is not a sales, revenue or valuation figure for any unit.
Does the mark mean Wyndham owes me the return or the buyback?
The unit agreement names the party that owes you the contractual return and the buyback; a brand mark describes the operator affiliation and is not a party to either.
What if the operator or brand changes after I buy?
Ask what your unit agreement says if the operator or the brand changes, and read that clause with your counsel; the freehold title in your name does not depend on the brand.
